In 2020 Amy co-founded Brillstein Creative Partners, a joint-venture with the talent management team at Brillstein Management Partners, launching a global media company focused on premium storytelling across all platforms, including producing scripted and unscripted television, feature films, podcasts and Web 3.0 native content. 

Amy and her team and I source, finance, develop, and produce film, television and digital content in partnership with the top talent and artists in the community as well as new and diverse voices that they discover and champion.

Having created deep engagement within the entertainment and publishing communities over many years, Amy’s strong relationships across marketing, social community building and technology enables development of content that is memorable, popular and cutting edge. 

Creative, tenacious and intensely curious, Amy is constantly learning, reading and seeking new solutions. A strategic thinker who always sees the bigger context, She quickly identifies trends and cultural touch points that will move the needle. 

As a natural leader, Amy is comfortable in demanding, high pressure environments, able to inspire and motivate others. Organized, methodical and with exceptional EQ, she sees both sides of the coin; financial and creative, logical and practical. 

Amy enjoys facilitating new voices to find their path and is particularly energized when mentoring younger executives. Building a team and finding success together is a true passion and she works collaboratively to get the best out of people.

In 2013 Amy Powell founded Paramount Television, reviving the defunct television production division of Paramount Pictures, successfully launching it from the ground-up to focus on the technological expansion of the streaming services, making it a vigorous business and the studio’s growth engine. 

Working with world-class artists and creators, Paramount TV financed, developed, produced and marketed television content for leading broadcast, cable, digital and streaming audiences, including Apple, Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, HBO, TNT, Epix, Nickelodeon, Fox, BET, USA and more.

Series included Jack Ryan, 13 Reasons Why, The Alienist, Catch 22, Boomerang, Station 11, Grease Live, The Haunting of Hill House, Defending Jacob, Minority Report, Looking for Alaska, School of Rock, Berlin Station, Shooter and more.  

As the President, Amy Powell was responsible for creating, developing, producing and executing the strategic initiatives to build, brand and launch the TV studio as well as audience growth. Amy oversaw the studio’s production of original & digital programming as well as adaptations of select movies and books, building a rapidly growing division with global production & distribution.  

Amy managed the content creator team producing both short-form and long-form; overseeing relationships with top talent, media partnerships, marketing, finance, legal and communications; identifying and creating tentpole content, original marketing campaigns tied into emerging industry trends and social media driven to audience growth.  

Successfully created a TV studio from scratch and created a hugely financially successful business for the company. Won dozens of Emmys.

Prior to founding the Paramount Television Studios, Amy Powell was handling the role of President of Digital Marketing & Content Strategy at Paramount Pictures. During her tenure, Amy created & executed a global audience growth strategy for Paramount Pictures with a focus on empowering people to engage with our campaigns & express themselves.

In this role Amy was responsible for running content development, production & partnerships focused on the intersection of technology & storytelling, always with an eye toward the future. SheI led campaigns with global media, social marketing, web strategy & development, community engagement & management, email & CRM & platform technology; optimized individual campaigns on a territory-by-territory basis by focusing on analytics and reporting; managed a content strategy that revolved around authentic, creator driven content.

Grew a diverse community of platform partners, talent relationships & content creators by actively engaging directly with the audience through multiple digital touch-points. In her previous role as Executive VP, Amy was responsible for the development and execution of digital marketing strategies for global film releases for films & franchises including Star Trek, Transformers, Iron Man, Paranormal Activity, Captain America, Indiana Jones, Mission Impossible and more. Key responsibilities included facilitating the development & implementation of comprehensive digital marketing programs across all digital channels including web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, managing the P&A for the digital advertising spend, email, social media & all platforms.


Amy Powell Created & managed design and implementation of all online content & assets including all film websites and social media presence. Planned & controlled the digital marketing budget and spend by allocating budgets to different channels & using A/B testing to optimize performance. Used data & analytics to measure effectiveness of campaigns to deliver actionable insights & recommendations for holistic marketing campaigns.
